Beetroot and Onion

This is the easiest recipe ever discovered and yet it is so tasty. This is a South African Favorite.

  • Boil your beetroot till it is nice and tender.
  • Slice a onion and put it into a large jar together with the sliced beetroot.
  • Then you cover it all with Vinegar.

  • Add all of these ingredients together while the beetroot is still warm, this will help the jar to seal when you have added the rest.
  • In it's sealed state, it can last up to a month. Once opened, of course, it needs to be refrigerated and eaten fairly quickly.
