Egg Salad
Ingredients
- 4 Hard boiled eggs
- 4 Tomatoes
- 1 Lettuce
- 1 Small Onion
- 1 Grated Carrot
- A little chopped beetroot
- Parsley
Method
- Shred the lettuce
- Mix with chopped onion
- Put both of these in a salad bowl
- Arrange slices of tomato round sides of bowl
- On top of lettuce and just under tomato rings arrange a circle of grated
carrots, then a circle of chopped whites of eggs, a small ring of beetroot.
- Pile the grated yolks of eggs in center and garnish with parsley
- Serve with Mayonnaise
With this recipe, it seems that there is a whole lot of effort put into the
decoration of the different types of food. However, once you actually taste it,
you'll realise it actually makes a great combination.
It works brilliantly for BBQ's (Braai's). It even looks tasty to a youngster
that is dead set against eating salads. It's just the colour that makes it look
